Ira Stasi, Golf Professional
Ira Stasi joins the Atkins Golf Club team as a PGA Member and a 2022 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. A native of Evansvilled, Indiana, he has compiled experience over the past 5 seasons at several renowed facilities across the Midwest includeing Evansville Country Club in Indiana, Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond, Kentucky, Algonquin Golf Club in St. Louis, MO, and Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana - one of America's Top 50 golf courses. After training under experienced PGA Professionals and instructors, he has developed a great passion for playing and teaching the game. He is continually working to improve his ability to do both. He has developed a teaching philosophy that is focust on a holistic approach to improving a student's game. The aspects of full-swing, short game, course management, mental game, and health/fitness must all be utilized to improve the overall golf game. Ira will work with all students to develop the best approach to improving their game and meeting their individual goals.
Jim Buyze, Director of Golf
Jim has been a PGA Member since 1991 with certifications in Golf Operations, Player Development and PGA HOPE Adaptive golf. A graduate of Sterling High School, he attended Parkland College where he played both basketball and golf before enrolling at Ferris State University to study Professional Golf Management. Jim’s career has included roles at Geneva National Golf Club and Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI and most recently, Wild Ridge and Mill Run Golf Courses in Eau Claire, WI. Our staff is dedicated to helping you understand your swing, improve your scores, and help you to enjoy the game more; no matter what your goals may be.

Junior Golf Program
Juniors will be introduced to the basics of the game in a fun and welcoming environment!
Instructional topics will include:
- Full swing, chipping, pitching, and putting
- Caring for the course and basic rules of the game
- About the golf course and course management
Games and contests will be included weekly
Ages 6 to 9: Tuesday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Ages 10 and older: Tuesday mornings from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
8 clinic series starting on Tuesday, June 13th
No clinics the week of July 4th
- June 13th, 20th, 27th
- July 11th, 18th, 25th
- August 1st, 8th
$100 per child
Includes 8 weeks of clinics, games, and prizes
